Mushrooms to Monarchs
Location: Tipton and Warren St.
Docent: Brian Morgan
Enjoy a docent-led walk through the Fiscalini Ranch Monterey Pine and Coastal Oak forest. Learn about the life beneath our feet as we search for emerging mushrooms. Watch the skies for Monarch Butterflies as you learn about their life cycle and migratory habits. Leave the forest for sweeping ocean views from our Coastal Prairie as we discuss marine life, native and invasive plant life, and the rich human history of the Ranch dating back 10,000 years.
The walk is approximately 2.5 miles long with little elevation gain. You should bring water and wear closed toe shoes and long pants for protection from poison oak. Children accompanied by adults are welcome. No reservations required.« Back to Docent Walks
