Forest Loop Walk
Location: Tipton and Warren St.
Docent: Stephen Beck
Featuring panoramic views of the ocean, rolling hills and distant mountains, above the majestic coastline, the docent-led Forest Loop walk takes you through the Monterey Pine forest and coastal prairies of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. You will see and learn about the plants, trees, birds, and other wildlife that make the Preserve a unique and diverse eco-system. Docents also talk about the human history of the area for a cultural appreciation of the Ranch. The walk is approximately 2.5 miles long with little elevation gain. You should bring water and wear closed toe shoes and long pants for protection from poison oak. Children accompanied by adults are welcome. No reservations required.« Back to Docent Walks
